Stage & Production Management
Becca holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Stage Management and works as a multi-disciplinary professional theatre artist. She has experience in stage and production management as well as movement direction and devising.
She is also a proud ensemble member at Strawdog Theatre Company.
Becca’s work in theatre is values driven. She is drawn to theatre and companies that build community, are rooted in mutual respect, and tackle hard questions with grace, humor, and care.
Stage Management
Becca aims to synthesize her creative and organizational skillsets as a stage manager. She views her work as the central communications hub of a production, and is drawn to collaborating with production teams, casts, and theatre companies who value communication, community, and respect. Becca is also developing resources for beginning stage managers and high school teachers interested in teaching stage management.

Production Management
Becca was on staff as the Director of Production at Strawdog Theatre Company for two seasons, from July 2017 - May 2019.
During that time she Production Managed Barbecue (performed at Steppenwolf’s 1700 theatre), Pillars of the Community (Strawdog’s inaugural show at 1802 W Berenice), Damascus, Masque Macabre (Strawdog’s first devised immersive theatre piece), The Revolutionists, Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins (Strawdog’s first TYA production), and Take Me (a world premiere musical).
As a production manager, Becca’s goal is to uplift and bring to life the artistic vision for a production through excellent communication and collaboration. While much of production management happens on the computer via email, spreadsheets, and calendars, the reality of this work in Chicago store-front was that is also required hands-on production experience. From calendars and contracts to painting and hanging lighting instruments, Becca was proud to serve Strawdog through two seasons of exciting new ventures and reimagined classics!
Ensemble Member
While serving as Director of Production, Becca was honored to be invited to join the artistic ensemble at Strawdog Theatre Company. As an ensemble member, she collaborates with the rest of the artistic company to uphold Strawdog’s values of Community, Connection, Ensemble, and Challenge both onstage for our audience and outside artists as well as internally in all our company choices. She collaborates with Strawdog artistically and logistically on productions (education & dramaturgy) and from a wider organizational perspective.
